“Bring Me To Life” is a success song of Evanescence, an american rock band that debuted with the studio album called “Fallen” in March 2003. . It was written by Amy Lee, Ben Moody and David Hodges while production was handled by Dave Fortman.

This song represented the first strike for Evanescence because it was placed on the soundtrack for the 2003 movie “Daredevil” along with the ballad “My Immortal” that soon became a hit. “Bring Me To Life” combines alternative metal genres to rap-rock and gothic metal, having several meanings and inspirations according to Amy Lee who said that the song was about open-mindness and waking up to "all the things you've been missing for so long".
