Michel Sardou was born on January 26, 1947 in Paris, France. Son of actors Jackie & Fernand Sardou, he followed his parents on tour. After painful studies, Michel took acting lessons & met Michel Fugain, songwriter of his first songs. He performed in cabarets, signed to Barclay & released his first 7" "Le Madras" in 1965.
