Alice in Darkland born in January 1999. Two months later they record theirs first studio work "Bewitching the Mind", two tracks of symphonic and melancholic death metal, including some gothic-dark influence. The first line-up includes Alice ( keyboards ), Andy ( guitar ), Alberto ( vocals ), E. M. Kiske ( drums / back. vocals ) and Claude ( bass ).
In June 2000 they record theirs second demo-tape(distribuited only to labels ) "Through Violet Perversion", four tracks of aggressive and powerful symphonic death metal. In this demo Mat Stancioiu from Labyrinth / Vision Divine, is the drummer.
In September 2001 they signed for the label Nocturnal Music, from July 2002 the “The Evil’s Entrails” CD is available in the stores. After the continuous line up changes the formation is consolidate by the entering of the second guitarist Andrew Frederich, the bassplayer Dhilorz from Ancient and the drummer Rullo from Stygian and Emptymist. Before the entering of Rullo, has been a succession of different drummers like Gianluca ( ex-Ophidian ), Loris ( ex-Node ), Grom ( Ancient ), etc.
The Alice in Darkland are actually working on new tracks and are getting prepared for live concerts in Italy and abroad.
