BETZEFER started out in 1998 as a 4 members rock band. after recording their first demo tape in 1999, the band started playing live shows all over israel, from punk events to hardcore and metal events.

october 2000, the band releases their debut EP that followed a live show broadcasted on local israeli mainstream radio.

in the end of 2001 the band releases their first album, ‘some tits, but no bush’, which consisted of recordings made during 2000 and 2001. by that time they have built their reputation among the Israeli alternative scene starting to play bigger gigs in Israel's top clubs.

after recording a few sketch songs in 2003, the band goes into studio and releases their new album titled ‘new hate’.
