Clarika (real name Claire Keszei) was born on February 3, 1967 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Her mother was a French teacher < her father was a poet from Hungary. She started music in a brass orchestra, playing the small flute. She participated to various bands while studying French.
After acting lessons, Clarika met Jean-Jacques Nyssen, who fell in love with the young woman (they had 2 children). The couple went to record companies until their songs were accepted. In 1994, Clarika released her first album J'Attendrai Pas Cent Ans. Ironic < acid songs, the tone was given < her second album was released in 1996. Clarika became a star < appeared on TV. After La Fille, Tu Sais in 2001, she came back with Joker in 2005. The 13 songs of that album were full of emotion < depth.
