Ingar was born in Gjøvik/Norway, 8 September 1963. Raised in Eina, his musiccareer started in a school orchestra, playing flute and horn. He started to play guitar in the late seventies, but he soon found the bass guitar more relevant to his way of expressing himself. In 1979 he formed the band «Roquefire» together with Ronni Le Tekro (TNT), and he has later recorded several bands including «Conception».
The idea of Crest of Darkness was a result of a long time as musician depending on others. He was always the dark person in Conception, and with Crest of Darkness he finaly had full freedom to make what he wanted without asking anyone else. This reulted in darker and more aggressive tracks than before, something I belive he has managed to do well.
