Irish boyband, D-Side, first become known when winning Best New Tour Act at the 2002 Smash Hits Awards, the luck of the Irish seems to be paying off once again. Previous winners of the award being Westlife, Five and Boyzone.

In April 2003, the boys released their first single in the UK and Ireland. 'Speechless' entered the UK charts at #9, and went straight to #11 in Ireland. 'Invisible' was then released, followed by 'Real World'.
