Doctor Butcher is (or, at least, was) a side project featuring Savatage members Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery, and the self-titled album is the perfect album for fans who long for the days of the heavier, early-period Savatage. Released with little fanfare in 1995, it has since been re-released by Crook'd records and is well worth a listen. At one time this appeared to be an ongoing project, but it is not clear whether that's the case now.
