Since the formation through shouter Philipp Ohliger and gutarist Sebastian Lammel in autumn 2004, the once-was solo-project DOWNTIME evolved into a concerted combination of old-school- and melodic-deathmetal parts, modern hardcore and groovy thrashmetal, which stands out clearly from all stereotype trendmetal. After certain changes in line-up, the band became an undestroyable unit with new drummer Stefan Gröning and bass player Dennis Hirth. Soon the first EP "Dystopia" arose out of intransigent self-production; the general feedback even before release was amazing.
