Elvis Hitler is a parody punk/thrash band from Detroit that plays wild and ferocious garage-rock. Disgraceland (Wanghead, 1987 - Restless, 1988) revelead Jim Leedy's juvenile delinquent persona (Hot Rod To Hell) and a garage-rockabilly sound that bordered on childish. They are best known for "Green Haze," combining the music of Hendrix's "Purple Haze" with the lyrics to the Green Acres theme song.
