Emmanuelle Daumas was born on November 23, 1983 in Avignon, France. Her parents were stylists. Inspired by female singers Alanis Morissette, Vanessa Paradis < Sheryl Crow, she took piano lessons < started to compose her first songs at 13. She also learnt guitar < modern dance. Then, she went to castings like "Graines De Star" in 2000.
Emma was revealed in another casting show in 2002 : Star Academy. She failed to win but she continued. In 2003, she released her first single "Au Jour Le Jour", written < composed by herself. She signed to Polydor < released her first album Le Saut De L'Ange, helped by songwriters Maxime Le Forestier, Maïdi Roth, Johan Ledoux < Alex Reverdy. In 2006, the beautiful girl was back with her second album Effets Secondaires, showing her rock power < nice lyrics.
