History:

Eva Avila held jobs as a postal clerk and beauty consultant prior to appearing on Season 4 of Canadian Idol. She is a past winner of the Jeune Diva du Quebec, a province-wide singing competition. Eva is fluent in French, English and Spanish. She began singing at a young age under the tutelage of her father, Peruvian born Carlos Avila, a local Gatineau QC performer.
