Fang came from the "political-correctness" capitol, Berkeley, California and were one of nearly four dozen Northern California and Nevada bands featured on the Faulty Products distributed Alternative Tentacles LP, NOT SO QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT.
Fang's line up was: T. Fly (Tom Flynn) on guitar, Joel Fox(x) on drums, C.W. (Chris Wilson) on bass and "Slam" (Sam McBride) doing the vocal duties. Shortly after NOT SO QUIET... they released their own LP, LANDSHARK/WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE on Boner Records, who in turn reissued it on CD in 1995. A second LP entitled A MI GA SFAFAS followed in 1988...
Tom Flynn now runs Boner Records and Sam McBride, after a stint in prison and a name change to "Sammytown," is fronting a new band called The Resistoleros and acting (Down Time)...
