Fattaru, consisting of DJ Kojak, Mackan, Mingus < Stuffe aka (Rah Balder) is a swedish hiphop band from Stockholm, Sweden. They have so-far released three albums and five singles, as well as featured on the two compilation albums Den Svenska Underjorden (2000) and Ordkrig (2001).
Their first album, Fatta Eld was, with swedish hiphop-scene standards in mind, a major commercial success. The two main hits from this album were <#8220;Första Femman<#8221; and <#8220;Mina Hundar<#8221;.
In 2004 they launched their second album, Jordnära. The album failed to attract as many customers as their earlier album, and passed through rather unnoticed outside the underground swedish hiphop-scene.
A new album called <#8220;Mina Drömmars Stad<#8221; was released in October 2006.
Fattaru still remain today as one of the few swedish hiphop-acts signed to a major label, EMI.
