Biography of Flesh Field
Flesh Field is an electronic/industrial band formed in 1996 by Ian Ross in Columbus, Ohio. Rian Miller joined the band in 1997 to contribute female vocals and together they released 2 albums, <#8220;Viral Extinction<#8221;(1999) and <#8220;Belief Control<#8221;(2001). Rian has left the band late 2003 and has since been replaced by another female vocalist, Wendy Yanko and the 3rd album <#8220;Strain<#8221; came out. The name Flesh Field is an unofficial term Ian Ross came up with to describe the psychological defense mechanisms of rape survivors. A new album <#8220;Tyranny Of The Majority<#8221; will likely be released in 2008.
