Floorpunch began in the summer of 1995. Rock and roll had become stagnant. "Achy Breaky Heart" was years away; something had to fill the void. That something was xbarbershopx.
Every afternoon at Moe's, Chief Wiggum, Apu, Principal Skinner, Barney and Homer would get together and sing, and the crowds went wild. In October of 1995 they recorded their debut single, "Baby on Board." The success of this single caused incredible tension, and all of the members immediately kicked themselves out. Five new guys were quickly found, and the rest is history.
