the GazettE, a japanese rock / visual kei band, call themselves <#24179;<#25104;<#12398;<#30064;<#31471;<#20816;<#38598;<#22243; (a heresy for their generation). Forming in 2002 under the name <#12460;<#12476;<#12483;<#12488; , they were recognized for their first release, wakaremichi, and held their first live March 10 of that year. The band always tries to keep originality within their compositions, creating a unique sound by mixing different music styles together.With eccentric costumes, original ideas, and a strong sound to their music, they are considered one of the most remarkable artists in the visual music scene.
the GazettE was originally signed with the Matina label, but during March 2003, they switched over to the PS Company record label - right after replacing their original drummer <#12518;<#12493; (Yune) , with ex-drummer of Mareydi<#8224;Creia<#8217;, <#25106; (Kai).
Their 4th studio album, DIM, came out on the 15th July 2009.
