George Sampson breakdanced his way to victory in the ITV show Britain's Got Talent in 2008. An estimated 13.1 million saw George Sampson win Britain's Got Talent. George Sampson from Warrington, who was just 14 years old won £100,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety Performance. Sampson had entered Britain's Got Talent in 2007 but had then failed to make the final. In 2007, George Sampson had been diagnosed as having a spine disease called Scheuermann's disease, which involves a curve of the spine. In August 2008, George Sampson played one of the lead roles in Into The Hood at London's Novello Theatre. In April 2009, George won the favourite reality contestant award at the Digital Spy reality TV awards. |
