1. Grenouille is the solo project of Javier Afonso, born in Canary Islands in 1984. After he had spent half of his live playing in bands, he decided to record all the songs that he had accumulated throughout the years in home studio. From the result of these recordings, he made an album called <#8220;Shadows of the lagoon<#8221; and adopted the pseudonym <#8220;Grenouille<#8221;, inspired by Patrick Suskind<#8217;s <#8220;Perfume<#8221;. Once the recording process was finished, he decided to move to London, with just a bag full of instruments. There he started to develop the project, merging the music with his other artistic facets like video and photography. Currently he is writing songs for his second album while looking for musicians and creating videos for his live performances
