Rob Halford (often nicknamed <#8220;The Metal God<#8221; since the early <#8217;90s) is the legendary singer of heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest (1974-1992, 2003-present), best known for his incredible vocal range.
Halford was the third and final project of Rob<#8217;s since leaving Judas Priest in 1993 (the other two being Fight (1993-1995) and 2wo (1997-1998)).
The band only released 3 albums and lasted from 2000 through to 2003. Rob parted ways and returned to Judas Priest. Judas Priest toured together and released a new album, Angel of Retribution. Now the members of Halford are together again, with the release of their new Christmas Album for 2009.
