There are at least 6 different groups named Inferi. Prominently, we find two on last fm. One is a one-man black metal project from Finland, the other, an American melodic death metal band.

1). Inferi is a Melodic Black Metal band from Argentina. They were formed in 1997 under Furias Records and to they still currently remain active. In 2000 they released their debut album entitled <#8220;The Call of the Dark Side<#8221;. After this they have released two other albums including; their 2005 album entitled <#8220;The Awakening of the Black Hordes<#8221; and their follow up to promo album entitled <#8220;The End Of A Weak Nature<#8221;. The lyrical content is about Satanism.

2) Inferi is a one man Black Metal band from Laitila in Finland. Formed in 2002 Inferi are signed to Northern Heritage Records. In the year 2006, Inferi released their debut full-length album entitled <#8220;Shores Of Sorrow<#8221;. Inferi<#8217;s main lyrical concepts include desolation, depression and misanthropy.

3) Inferi was a 4-piece from Nashville, Tenessee USA. Members from the group active in 2003, Death Looks Promising, formed Inferi in 2005. They have two self-released albums: Divinity In War (2007) and The End Of An Era (2009). They were Influenced by the likes of Vehemence, Death, Behemoth, Bloodbath, Darkane, and Hate Eternal.
