It Prevails Biography - Sweetslyrics

It Prevails is a five piece melodic hardcore band hailing from Portland, Oregon,formed in 2004. They are now based out of Denver, Colorado. The band draws influence from 90<#8217;s metal hardcore and classic rock. Bands like Shai Hulud, Twelve Tribes, Strongarm, Lifetime and Hot Water Music. were on constant rotation at hangouts during their inception. A premium was placed on lyrics related to struggles of the human condition and altruistic actions. It Prevails released a four song EP, <#8220;Indelible<#8221; in 2005, their debut album <#8220;The Inspiration<#8221; in <#8216;07, and their most recent effort <#8220;Capture < Embrace<#8221; on February 17th 2009.
