Jippu is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Helsinki, Finland. Her debut album “Salaisuuksia, joita yksinäiset huutaa unissaan”(transl. Secrets what lonely people scream in their dreams) was released in the fall 2006, and won “the best debut album of the year” -award in Emma gaala ( a Finnish version of the Grammy Awards).Her second album “Kuka teki minusta tän naisen” (Who made me this woman) was released in April 2008.
Both of these albums have sold over 15,000 copies.
Currently Jippu is recording her 3rd album, which will be released in the fall 2010.
