Joe Rockhead formed in the Greater Boston Area in 1993. Founding members are Tom Hurley, Lead vox, rythm guitar and song writer. Chuck Schliker is the drummer. More recent members include Mike Roberts on Bass and Robin Steiger on lead guitar and vox. JR has completed (4) full length CD's sinc 1995 and has used Fran Flannery of "Fuel", "Joydrop" "Creed" fame as their lead producer/engineer. Fran's wife Laurie who currently works with Bob Ludwig at "Gateway Studios" in Maine has mastered all of their critically acclaimed records. JR has always been known in the Boston area for it's marathonlike performances and high energy rock shows. The music falls somewhere in the vein of MB20, Springsteen, and Toad the wet sproket.
