Joost Nuissl (Amsterdam, 15 oktober 1945) is a Dutch troubadour, songwriter and all around artist. In the time he lived in a small Dutch town called Broekhuizenvorst he compossed a song with the local brassband which reached #7 in the Dutch top 40 (Ik Ben Blij Dat Ik Je Niet Vergeten Ben). This song is a classic in the Netherlands and is a steady song in the anual all time favorit list of Dutch radio 2, The Top 2000. Joost Nuissl formed cabaretgroup Jjoooosstt (1980-1982) with another Dutch artist called Joost Belifante. In later years he was the theaterdirector in Delft ((1985-1987) and of a very famous Dutch theater called De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam (1988-2006).
