Julien Clerc (real name Paul-Alain Leclerc) was born on October 4, 1947 in Paris, France. At 6, he took piano lessons < played his favourite songs some years later. In the 60's, he met Maurice Vallet < Etienne Roda-Gil < Julien dreamed of going on stage. In 1968, he recorded his first album < became the lead role of the musical "Hair".
In the 70's, he recorded an album every year < they were all successful. French singers became less popular in the 80's but Julien continued his career. From Aime-Moi in 1984, including the hit "Mélissa", to Où S'En Vont Les Avions ? in 2008, Julien proved his talent.
