Julien Doré was born on July 7, 1982 in Alès, France. Student at Nîmes' Fine Arts School, he was an original. Music was his favourite mode of expression and he founded the band Dig Up Elvis in 2002. The rock band went on tour in Nîmes' bars but didn't go up. Julien Doré participated to Nouvelle Star casting in 2007 and was chosen by the jury. The following was amazing : Julien covered songs for every prime, even by rearranging them himself. TV viewers discovered his versions of "Moi... Lolita" and "Like A Virgin". After 11 weeks in the TV show, Julien Doré became "Nouvelle Star" winner. In 2008, he released his first album Ersatz.
