Junko Akimoto (<#31179;<#20803; <#38918;<#23376; Akimoto Junko?, born June 21, 1947 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese kay<#333;kyoku singer. She also sing jazz, chanson, canzone and min'y<#333;. She made her debut in 2005. She attended the 59th NHK K<#333;haku Uta Gassen.[1] Her song "Ai no Mama de" (<#24859;<#12398;<#12414;<#12414;<#12391; Still in Love?) reached number-one on the Japan's Oricon charts in January 2009. By this, she became the eldest singer to reach the number-one position on single charts in Oricon history.[2] The single has been charting for 64 weeks and to date has sold 568,334 copies.Albums
