Katon’s music career begun with KLa Project’s single “Tentang Kita” in 1988. Until 1999, KLa Project already released 8 albums plus 3 compilations of their best songs. In KLa Project, Katon not only act as vocalist, he also compose, create, and write songs and lyrics.

His lyrics are not ordinary ones like we usually heard on ordinary pop songs. Katon Bagaskara’s lyrics are famous for the poetic and romantic style, and can be enjoyed as a poet. This special thing made Katon Bagaskara has his own fans.

Until today, Katon already released 7 solo albums, and the 7th album, “Lovaholic 28”, released in 2007.
