Kurtalan Ekspres is a Turkish Anatolian Rock band that has worked with several famous lead singers, such as Cem Karaca, Cahit Berkay, Bar<#305;<#351; Manço. The band takes its name from a train named Kurtalan Express, which travels between Kurtalan and Haydarpa<#351;a. Kurtalan Ekspres was founded by Bar<#305;<#351; Manço in 1971, and initially included Murat Ses, Erdinç Avc<#305;, Fuat Güner, Celal Güven, Özkan U<#287;ur and Ali Serdar. In late 70's Bahad<#305;r Akkuzu joined the group as the lead guitarist. After Bar<#305;<#351; Manço's death in 1999, the band began working with Cem Karaca. After Cem Karaca's death in 2004, Bahad<#305;r Akkuzu took over the vocals. Bahad<#305;r Akkuzu died of a heart attack in 2009, and the band has presumably come to an end.Kurtalan Ekspres Members
