Milojko "Mile" Kiti<#263; (Serbian: <#1052;<#1080;<#1083;<#1086;<#1112;<#1082;<#1086; "<#1052;<#1080;<#1083;<#1077;" <#1050;<#1080;<#1090;<#1080;<#1115; ; born January 1, 1952 in Derventa, Yugoslavia) is a popular Bosnian turbo-folk singer.[1]

He was popular in most parts of the former Yugoslavia. He is married to the Serbian singer Marta Savi<#263;.

Biography

He was born 'Milojko Kiti<#263;' on January 1, 1952 in the village of Donji Cerani, in Derventa, SFR Yugoslavia, to Serbian parents living in Bosnia.

When he was 13 years old, his family moved to Sarajevo. He graduated on May 15, 1970. His first single was "<#268;ija si ljubav" (Whose love are you) in 1975. From 1974 to 1980 he played the electric guitar in his band “Prin<#269;evi” (The Princes, derived from “Prince”).

In 1983 he started his first tour after completing his first studio album 'Moja Slatka Mala', touring around Sarajevo and Tuzla.

He joined the band “Južni Vetar” (Southern Wind) in 1984, with instant success with the album and single "<#268;aša Ljubavi". In this group he collaborated with fellow Yugoslav folk singers Sinan Saki<#263;, Dragana Mirkovi<#263;, Kemal Malov<#269;i<#263; and Šemsa Suljakovi<#263;.

During the Bosnian War he and his family fled to Belgrade, he lost among others, his nephew.

Personal

With his ex-wife Bosiljka he has a daughter, Sanja. Today he's living with his second wife Marta Savic (she's a singer too) and daughter Elena in Belgrade. They have a second home in Hannover, Germany. He is already a grandfather because his daughter from his first marriage has two children.
