Mineral formed in Austin, Texas.
Within six months, they released a 7" on the Audio Concept (Denver CO).
The record spread quickly across the country and ended up on many a college station Top 10.
The buzz began. Meanwhile, the band jumped in their van and toured the states three times (that's right 3). The buzz grew pretty quickly. Consequently, "The Power of Failing", Mineral's debut full length, is a highly anticipated release amongst the indie kids and other folks "in the know".
