Minus the Bear is a Seattle band with four releases to their credit. Their newest project, an EP called ''They Make Beer Commercials Like This'', came out this year on Arena Rock. Their first full length in almost three years, "Menos El Oso" will be released on August 23rd, 2005. The singles "Hooray" and "Houston We Have Uh-Oh..." have been feature on popular music websites. The band features ex-members of Botch, Kill Sadie, and Sharks Keep Moving. Their sound involves a mix of pele-esque guitar-taps and electronics, with a Don Cab-esque sophistication of composition.
