Ophélie Winter (real name Ophélie Kleerekoper) was born on February 20, 1974 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. She is the daughter of the singer David-Alexandre Winter and she has one brother, Michael. She was considered as a female R<B pioneer with her 1995 single "Dieu M'A Donné La Foi", which sold 500,000 copies. She was nominated as "Révélation" for the Victoires de la Musique. The album No Soucy ! followed with the songs "Le Feu Qui M'Attise", "Shame On You" and the duet with Coolio, "Keep It On The Red Light". Her second album Privacy sold 1 million copies. Ophélie is also an actress, she was the star of Gilles Paquet-Brenner's "Les Jolies Choses" and Claude Lelouch's "Hommes Femmes Mode D'Emploi". She is currently recording her fourth album with R<B talents. In September 2007, she was part of "Popstars" jury with Benjamin Chulvanij, Sébastien Farran < Mia Frye.
