But by the time of A Sense Of Change the band had moved on and broadened its sound, here sounding a bit like more recent Rush. With a new guitarist and a new vocalist, Sophisticated continued the direction shift, sounding slightly less progressive than their earlier efforts (though the musicianship level remains high) and has a slightly more commercial sound.
