Michael Stevenson (born November 19, 1989), better known by his stage name Tyga (an acronym for Thank You God Always), is an American rapper signed to Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Universal Republic Records. He is of Vietnamese and Jamaican descent.He first received recognition with his debut single "Coconut Juice", featuring his cousin Travie McCoy . While his first album No Introduction failed to sell as expected, Tyga released a flood of mixtapes to improve, which in effect turn in his favors. Most songs off his mixtapes are played on the radio or even played in clubs such as the song, "Lap Dance" off of his Black Thoughts 2 mixtape. Phrases from his mixtape, Well Done 2 began to stay trending topics on Twitter more than a week.
Tyga has a clothing line called Last Kings, which he has announced in many songs, he can be also be seen wearing his own Last King hat on the Well Done mixtape cover. Tyga has become a huge trend setter in 2010-11, which he also featured on multple songs.
He is also dropping his album, Careless World in 2011, although it was postponed many times for unknown reasons, but the album begins to be a trending topic on many websites, including Twitter.
