Hard-hitting and reliable, the BRIGGS are a punk rock Oi-tinged outfit hailing from the Los Angeles underground. The band was formed in 1999 by brothers Jason (23, guitar < vox) and Joey LaRocca (21, vox < guitar) with Duck Matthews (25, bass < backing vox) and Chris X (21, drums). Their sound combines classic So Ca hardcore influences with the British sound of COCK SPARRER and the TOY DOLLS. In 2001 the BRIGGS released their self-produced debut album, Is This What You Believe?, which received amazing reviews. In 2002 they participated in the VANS WARPED TOUR, also appearing on the compilation of the same name. Numbers is their new sonic assault and this time it is produced by DUANE PETERS himself.
