I don't know that much about the band specifics, but I heard on the news yesterday that the drummer, Jim Capaldi, died of stomach cancer, and that reminded me that one of their songs from the 70's was a favorite of mine--Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. It has a really mellow laid back jazz sound, and it was always one of my faves which for me was rather odd, the hard rocker I have always been! They played an entirely different sound in the late 60's, and some was pretty good, but this one song is really the only thing I can remember of theirs. I just DL'd it and am listening to it as I write this, and I have to say, my typing is singing right along with them!
