Worthless United was formed in 1993 by bassist Scott and vocalist Dave. After many years of lineup changes and a very successful 1995 demo, Worthless United became a stable rock 'n' roll unit in 1996 with the permanent addition of Zak as a guitarist/vocalist and recorded another demo of new material. Shortly after that Scott's older brother, Steve, signed up to play drums and Worthless United quickly became a fixture in the budding New Brunswick hardcore-punk scene and a favorite live act throughout their home state of New Jersey.
In a scene divided by cliques and strict genres, Worthless United paved their way by crossing over, under, and through all the lines by playing honest and passionate punk rock and roll to anyone who would listen. Taking inspiration from a wide range of influences and shaping them into a present day context, Worthless United won a devoted following from the most wide-eyed kid at his/her first show to the most jaded skinhead sitting alone at the bar. Worthless United has gone on to release two seven inch records, three compact disks with a new full length coming out this spring.
