He founded his first band YUBA, which was SACEM's Grand Prix in 1996. However, the band wasn't successful < William went to Asia, Africa < Northern Europe. In 2000, he met a songwriter, Gil Gimenez. The 2 men started composing quickly < William signed to Warner. His first maxi appeared in 2007 < he performed before Christophe Maé. Success came in 2008 with his hit "Rayon De Soleil", N°1 during 9 weeks.
