At A Glance Yavuz Bingöl is an eminent Turkish folk music artist and an actor.
Biography
Yavuz Bingöl was born in 1964. In 1989 he formed the band Grup Umuda Ezgi along with Nihat Aydin. He left the group in 1995 and since then released several solo albums. He released Unutulur Hersey (Everything Is Destined To Be Forgotten) in 2004, Biz (Us) in 2005 and Yare in 2007.
His acting career includes several miniseries on Turkish TV and the Romance series Zerda. He appeared in the movie O Simdi Askerde (He's in the Army Now), which was nominated for the best Turkish film at the Istanbul International Film Festival. He also acted in Salkim Hanim'in Taneleri.
