Send "Youth in Revolt movie" Ringtones to your Cell 
May 21, 2008 - Dimension Films revealed a few new additions to the cast of Youth in Revolt during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Michael Cera's booked to star in the film, with Ray Liotta, Jean Smart, and M Emmet Walsh joining him in the comedy/drama. Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl) is onboard to direct the film based on the novel by C. D. Payne.In a press release announcing the expansion of the Youth in Revolt cast, Bob Weinstein said, “As a huge fan of Superbad and Juno, I am incredibly excited to be working with Michael Cera, one of the most talented young actors working today whose last two films grossed over $100 million each. Youth in Revolt’s edgy humor and loyal fan base make it a tremendous addition to our slate and these actors are the perfect choices to round-out the outstanding cast led by Michael Cera. We look forward to working with Miguel Arteta, David Permut and the rest of the team as we create a daring movie that will attract the book’s dedicated readers and entertain Dimension’s passionate fans.”
Cera will next be seen in Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist co-starring Kat Dennings. Cera's also signed on to star in Scott Pilgrim vs the World.
Youth in Revolt Official Synopsis
Youth in Revolt is the irreverent story about the wild adventures of a teenage boy named Nick Twisp who meets the girl of his dreams while on a family vacation and has to turn his life and the lives of all those around him upside down in order to be with her.
