Zavorash Biography - Sweetslyrics

Zavorash was formed in 1996 by the three original members Zablogma, Zagzakel, and Zagrash. The first recording of the band was made at Zagrash's residence using a digital port and drum-machine. After the production of this demo-tape (released in only a few hundred copies as financed by the band itself) Necromorbus joined the band the second demo (In Odium Veritas) was recorded in his studio - the studio where the band has worked ever since.

After the recording of the In Odium Veritas demo the band veritably split up, simply from feeling they had better things to do. Thus Zavorash remained dormant until Totalscorn (previously Zablogma), Nil (previously Zagzakel), Gideon and I. Hate (previously Necromorbus) decided to start the project again. This was done much thanks to Totalscorn signing the band for Selbstmord Services upon his release from various mental institutions

Zavorash was thus set to enter the studio in August 2003 for a first full-length recording. However, beyond the whims of their current contract it was agreed with Selbstmord Services that a sort of promotional MCD be released before this; Containing the somewhat praised In Odium Veritas demo at full length plus three other Zavorash-creations from various times and places. Currently, the band is recruiting people in order to have a satisfying line-up for August, session-artists are also involved. The recording of their first full-length album (working title: NASD) is dearly looked forward to by the band and will contitute a culmination of the abundance of unused material that has piled up over the years.
