The former Disney star, Demi Lovato took the stage last night, January 11th at 2012 People's Choice Awards inside the Nokia Theater L.A. before she was presented as winner of Favorite Pop Artist award beating great names such as Beyonce Knowles, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa and Rihanna. Introduced by Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens, Demi performed her latest single "Give Your Heart a Break" of Unbroken album.

She dazzled in a red gown, standing tall on a cube. "Thank you guys so much. This award is amazing. The nominees that I was up against are people that I look up to," she gushed on her acceptance speech. "And I won this award because of my fans, so I dedicate this to you guys. ... Without you guys tweeting so many times I wouldn't be up here tonight."

Meanwhile, Katy Perry was the biggest winner of the night, scoring 4 nods out of 5, including Favorite Female Artist or Favorite Tour Headliner. Lady GaGa grabbed one kudo, Favorite Album of the Year.

Continuing its tradition to honor the best in music, TV and movie, 2012 PCAs was hosted by "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco.Faith Hill making live performance. Spotted coming to the event were the likes of Miley Cyrus, Cory Monteith, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Hough and Ian Somerhalder.
