News - Rihanna, Aerosmith and Jennifer Lopez took the stage on American Idol Finale

The Bajan songstress Rihanna took the stage during the Finale of American Idol season 11 Wednesday night, May 23 in which Phillip Phillips was named the big winner. She performed her latest single "Where HAve You Been" in front of a screaming audience. Rihanna came out from a giant pyramid on the center of the stage, showing off her legs in an all-black number. Joined by a number of dancers she also delivered some energetic routines, in which she almost lost her breathing. "Where Have You Been" is lifted from Riri's newest studio effort Talk That Talk, which has been released since November last year.
Aside from Rihanna's performance, the Idol Finale show was also made merry by live performances by Reba McEntire and Skylar Laine who sang "Turn on the Radio", as well as John Fogerty and Phillip Phillips who delivered "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?".
Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez stepped out the judges table to entertain the audience with their performances. The former rocked the stage with his band Aerosmith as the latter brought in her collaborators. Tyler and his band performed live for the first time "Legendary Child", their first single from new album, Music From Another Dimension, but also delivered the hit number "Walk This Way". Their performances marked the band's first performance on the show since Tyler became a judge in 2010. J.Lo, on the other hand, made her return to the Idol stage a few weeks after showing off her dance single, "Dance Again". Wearing a glowing outfit, the 42-year-old songstress worked up the crowd by debuting another fresh song titled, "Goin' In", with the help of Flo Rida and Lil Jon, and performing "Follow the Leader" with collaborators Wisin & Yandel.
