The Wanted have revealed their plans to debut a new single titled "I Found You" due to air on Friday, September 7th.
The announcement was released via the group's official Twitter account on Wednesday (Sep. 5). With typical boy band panache, the guys built up suspense for the announcement, first tweeting "So you may or may not have heard but it’s now coming officially from us... *drum roll*" and then, after a literal dramatic pause, the grand reveal:
"Our brand new single is titled 'I Found You' & you'll be able to hear it on radio stations everywhere from Friday morning!!!"
The song will likely appear on the group's next album, which is still in the works.
Speaking of their new song, Nathan Sykes said: "We're doing a video for it in a couple of weeks as well in LA, which is really exciting. We are just trying to lock down all the ideas for it now."
Max George added: "We've been working on [our next album] for, like, the last six months, but it's still not ready yet. We're still working away on that and we've got plenty more travelling to do yet, so I'm not actually sure when the album is going to be ready."
