The good thing about these Danish magpies is that while their anthemic pulse clearly doffs its cap to the Flaming Lips, Arcade Fire and Bloc Party, the result has a pop savvy and light touch that creates a memorable hybrid.

Whether by design or accident, Soul Assassins recalls Keane, albeit strapped to Sonic Youth’s ebb-and-flow guitars.
