It took me until track ten to realize that The Chaos in Order is solely an exercise in mimesis, and I’ve now forgotten why, when I first heard the band’s wistful piano coax out an entirely too appropriate cello, and Shana Levy’s early morning voice quietly bemoan her romantic woes, I thought it would be anything more....full text |
