| The Appleseed Cast made its way across the country with its record labels, from the southern comfort of Deep Elm, to the dysfunction of New York’s Tiger Style, now to the West Coast’s pop-punk darling The Militia Group, all the while being firm stanchions of the Midwest. Don’t let the label swapping be misleading, Appleseed Cast stayed remarkably similar in style – with only slight meandering with the Low-Level Owl volumes -- and have been consistently satisfying with its incredible musical density. | Outside lies a beautiful, sunny, early Southern spring day, yet the interior of my apartment is still oddly chilly.
