| Somehow, any discussion on Paramore boils down to Hayley Williams. A force to be reckoned with at the petite height of five-foot-one, Hayley carried what is otherwise a lackluster album with All We Know Is Falling, sometimes getting buried under but never forgotten amongst the band’s pop-punk flavoring. The band was striving for a sound it couldn’t quite master yet; this hardly mattered, though, and soon it was cemented in the Fueled by Ramen line-up, sticking out like a well-placed sore thumb. | After the release of their debut, All We Know is Falling (an album I can not stand), I sat back and watched this band become the talk of our little website. I guess when you have a large enough group of pubescent boys together, any female immediately becomes a discussion topic (AP example: the infamous Pumpkin Tits). This phenomenon has led to countless threads discussing the lead singer of this band (it's a girl for those not in the know) and her dating habits, relative "hotness," fashion sense, and just about any other topic not related to her band's music....full text |

| Facing adversity can sometimes be a tough obstacle to overcome. I've said it before, having to overcome yourself is difficult and some bands are exceptionally capable and some aren't. To some this would come off as a negative introduction. It is. Paramore's Riot! sounded like a real winner from the few songs that were streamed before hand. Listening to the album track by track, however, makes me really want boycott instead of riot. It's a disappointing and can be slid into the sophomore slump category.
